    How to use

    1. Apply to pre-shampooed, damp hair. Wear gloves.
    2. Open color tube and squeeze entire contents into developer bottle.
    3. Shake thoroughly until color mixture is totally blended.
    4. Use tip end to make 1/2" sections throughout your hair and apply color mixture until completely saturated, working from the front to the back of your head.
    5. Put processing cap on and leave color on for 20 minutes.
    6. Using lukewarm water, rinse out color until water runs clear. For best results, follow with dpHUE Color Fresh Shampoo and Conditioner. Style as usual.

    Perform an allergy test as instructed
        CAUTION: The preparation may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some persons, and a preliminary test should always be made to determine whether special sensitivity exists. To make the test, a small area of skin behind the ear or on the inner surface of the forearm should be cleansed, using either soap and water or alcohol, and a small quantity of the hair dye as prepared for use should be applied to the area and allowed to dry. After 24 hours, the area should be washed gently with soap and water. If no irritation or inflammation is apparent, it may be assumed that no hypersensitivity to the dye exists. The test should be made before each application. The hair dye should never be used for dyeing eyebrows or eyelashes, as severe inflammation of the eye or even blindness may result

    What is Demi Permanent hair color?
    Demi-permanent hair color is a type of hair dye that enhances natural tones and lasts up to 16 washes, washing away gradually and with no line of demarcation at the root. Can be used to enhance, boost all over color, provide shine and is easy to use.
    Can I use Color Dream on color-treated hair?
    Yes, you can use Color Dream to freshen up and re-tone your color without creating a line of demarcation, as long as the color was not meant for full gray coverage.
    Can I use Color Dream on my current highlights?
    If you choose the shade based on your lightest highlight, it’ll keep the dimension in your hair and won’t cover your highlights.
    What if I am between 2 shades?
    If you have highlights and want to keep them, choose the lighter shade.
    Can Color Dream lighten my hair?
    Color Dream won’t lift hair color to a lighter shade.
    Can I use this product on virgin hair?
    Yes, you may use on virgin hair as along as the shade selected is within the same color family as virgin hair. Make sure to begin with strand test.
    Will I be able to cover grays?
    Color Dream will blend grays up to 20% making them less intense and noticeable.
    What are the strand test recommendations?
    Test a small strand of hair in an inconspicuous area first. Follow Color Dream directions for application. Be sure to isolate the selected strand from the rest of the hair to avoid color transfer when rinsing it out.
    What are the allergy patch test recommendations?
    PERFORM THE ALLERGY TEST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF COLOURING YOUR HAIR, EVEN IF COLOURING PRODUCT HAS BEEN USED BEFORE.
    1. Mix a small amount of 1 part hair color with 1 part activator. Do not use metal objects. Carefully reseal the color and activator.
    2. With a cotton swab, apply a pea size of the mixture with a thin layer on an area 2 by 2 centimeters on the inner side of the forearm.
    3. Leave on for 45 minutes without covering or touching it; avoid contact with clothes; then rinse the test area with water and pat dry with a clean tissue.
    4. If you observe any changes to the normal skin appearance, such as itching, redness, swelling on and around the test area during the testing time or during the following 48 hours, you should rinse off the test area immediately, do not use the product and consult a doctor.

    Color Dream is considered safe when used as intended; however, you should always check with your doctor for restrictions during pregnancy.
