    FAQ

When should I choose the Rinse original versus the LITE? Is there less of something in the ACV LITE formula? Both the ACV Hair Rinse Regular and LITE contain the same ingredients but they are balanced differently. The ACV Hair Rinse LITE is formulated to be lighter on Finer and Thinner Hair. We found that on Finer/Thinner hair, lowering the Conditioning Agents left the hair feeling conditioned but not weighed down. We recommend using the regular version first and if it’s too heavy, try the LITE. What is so great about ACV Hair Rinse? ACV Hair Rinse can substitute your shampoo when you need a gentle cleanse that won't strip color and natural oils that are essential to scalp and hair health. Made with artisanal crafted Apple Cider Vinegar from George Paul Vinegary to help seal the cuticle and add shine. Keeps color safe. Scalp and hair pH are balanced. Patented Formula.

Will ACV Hair Rinse LITE completely replace my shampoo and conditioner?
Everyone is different but in most cases, we say no! ACV Hair Rinse offers a gentle cleanse between your shampoos. When you haven't washed your hair for a three days or more, we think you'll need to shampoo and condition. Why is Apple Cider Vinegar good for my hair? Apple Cider Vinegar keeps scalp and hair pH balanced and works to seal the hair's cuticle for increased shine. It also helps to gently exfoliate the scalp and unclog hair follicles. The power of apple cider vinegar within the ACV Hair Rinse formula lets you clean your hair more naturally, without stripping away essential sebum oil or hair color. Will ACV Hair Rinse strip or fade color? Nope. ACV Hair Rinse is color safe and helps keep your hair color beautiful and shiny.  What is the difference between ACV Hair Rinse and homemade diluted Apple Cider Vinegar? Diluted apple cider vinegar alone may remove build-up but it can also strip your hair color and leave a lingering smell. Our formula is perfectly balanced to offer all the benefits of diluted Apple Cider Vinegar without its downsides. Our ACV Hair Rinse is color safe and is conditioning for your hair and scalp. Fire Tulip, Lavender Extract and Aloe Vera care for your hair, but can also help calm dry and itchy scalps. Argan oil provides moisture and protects from everyday damage.  What is the difference between ACV Hair Rinse and clarifying shampoo? Clarifying shampoo is like regular shampoo, on steroids. It aggressively strips natural sebum and oils leaving your hair dry and in need of conditioning. ACV Hair Rinse offers a gentle cleanse that won’t strip away essential oils or hair color.  Is ACV Hair Rinse considered low-poo? There’s lots of talk about low-poo hair care, which usually means limiting the frequency of using shampoo, or when using shampoo choosing one that doesn’t have SLS & SLES sulfates. ACV Hair Rinse is a great low-poo option as it doesn’t contain harsh sulfates that can strip away essential oils and color. Why is the lather of ACV Hair Rinse low? Lather is just for looks. Harsh Sulfates and Sodium are often unnecessarily added to shampoos to make them lather: lifting dirt and residue...but also stripping away essential oils and color in the process. We know those oils are important, which is why ACV Hair Rinse doesn't contain SLS & SLES sulfates. Seeya suds; hello fresh color. Why does ACV Hair Rinse leave my hair greasy? After using ACV Hair Rinse, your hair should feel clean, conditioned, and shiny. ACV Hair Rinse comes in the Original version as well as a LITE version. If you have fine /thin hair, we recommend using the LITE version. If you feel like your hair looks greasy and feels heavy, try using less product and rinsing more thoroughly. Does ACV Hair Rinse  smell? ACV Hair Rinse has a mild apple cider vinegar scent during use and rinses out to leave a fresh, pleasant fragrance.

When and how often should I use ACV Hair Rinse?

Everyone’s hair needs are different, but we recommend using the ACV Hair Rinse as often as possible. Some people use ACV Hair Rinse every 3rd or 4th shampoo, some at every other shampoo, and some people eliminate shampoo completely and use it almost every day. Give it a try and experiment with what works best for you.
