    How to use

    Use on dry hair, before shampooing. Section hair and apply evenly across the scalp using the tip applicator. Massage into the scalp and roots with fingertips and leave on for 8-10 minutes. Do not exceed 10 minutes. Rinse with water, then shampoo and condition as usual. For best results, use once a week. Apply before shampoo and conditioner.

    The ACV Exfoliating Scalp Detox is a chemical scalp exfoliation that uses salicylic acid to dissolve product buildup and excess oil, whereas the ACV Scalp Scrub is a physical exfoliant that utilizes pink Himalayan Sea Salt to scrub away impurities. Think of the ACV Scalp Scrub like a gritty face scrub and the ACV Exfoliating Scalp Detox like an at home peel.
    How long do I have to leave the ACV Exfoliating Scalp Detox on my scalp?
    We recommend 8-10 minutes for the active ingredients to unclog the hair follicles. It is important not to exceed 10 minutes.
    If I leave it on for longer than 10 minutes, will it affect my scalp or hair in any way?
    Because of the Salicylic Acid, we don't advise leaving it on for longer than 10 minutes. When left on the skin or scalp for a long period, Salicylic Acid can cause irritation or discomfort. In this case, moderation is key.
    If I apply this to damp hair, will it work the same way?
    You will still receive many of the same scalp detoxifying benefits, however it's much easier to apply the formula and target the scalp on dry hair.

    If you want a detox this is it! Remove the pesty layers of shampoo build up, hair products and the micro waxes that are in every day hair care. I haven't felt this light in years! This detox really stripped all of the build up and left me feeling refreshed!

    So far I am liking this product. I haven't used it too long and I only wash my hair twice a week so it hasn't been used a ton but I can tell that I'm losing less hair when I comb through it.

    I have an oily scalp, so sometimes it's hard to get the build up of oil and dry shampoo out when I wash… but this totally helps! I swear my hair is squeaky clean after I let this sit first! (Pro tip— pair it with the Apple cider vinegar rinse and it's MAGIC!)

    I suffer from dandruff and have a dry scalp sometimes. I used this product and really liked it. I feel like it help with getting rid of the dryness.
